    I toe punch out of the hatcher then wing band at around 2 weeks. I have noticed a couple of the toe punches had almost grew back in. There was only a pin hole left. Another week or two and I would have a misidentified chick.

    I have barred rocks from Guy Roy and Kraig Shafer. I have white rocks from Guy Roy. I have silver penciled rocks from Robert Murphy. I had some some Good Shepherd barreds, but they just have terrible tails.

    I've already got around 150 chicks hatched out. Toe punched by pen. Wing banded at 2 weeks of age. I have 2 GQF cabinet incubators. I made a hatching tray out of plywood with 3 sections and covered with wire to keep then separated when they hatch. Hopefully I'll be done hatching in a few more weeks.
