Egg color is a bit more complicated, there's several genes for egg color, there's the allele that determines the eggshell color, O (Oocyan, blue pigment) is a dominant gene, and o+ (white, lack of oocyan). And then there's an unknown amount of alleles that determines the brown pigment laid over...
It really is! I love seeing things before they were fully fleshed out and comparing them to the finished designs if there was one. Sometimes the prototypes look even better than the finished version which is interesting
