    I found something very interesting about lime last night!

    I was told to make a whitewash out of Barn Lime. Not the other one as it is too caustic. Barn Lime is aparently safer and inert.

    OK here are some better pics of my ebay BCM's. There are 6 birds total, 5 girls and the roo. roo same roo, different angle the 3 best looking girls together I don't know about these 2 white ones...

    I have 5 total. 2 of them like to "attack" each other like a couple of guys chest butting. I have one that has a lighter color comb and wattle, but the other 4 seem to have a little darker com & wattle. I'll try and get better pics. Thanks for the feedback.

    Buff brahma chick, male or female

    can anyone tell which are hens and which are roos. they are about 10 weeks old, hatched during the easter hatch-a-long. I think I have only 1 hen by the way they act. There are 5 total. If it will help I will try and get better individual pics tomorrow. THANKS

    coop bedding- what do you prefer??

    I use straw. I change it out about every week or so and use it as a base for my garden. cover with top soil and the veggies love it.

    Foot Injury or Bite?

    Here is a picture of her foot. I soaked it in epsom salts then cleaned it again with iodine and put neosporin on it. I see no sign of a callous or spot that might indicate bumblefoot. Feedback appreciated.
