I rehomed one of my pheasant girls and in return a got a pick of some chicks for the new owners to bring on before introducing them to our wee flock.

I know I must have cut the chicken egg a bit wonky, but the yolk to white ratio in the pheasant eggs are impressive!
All my girls are quite "fussy" with the eggs and if I empty the nests completely they will move them (that's why I simply always leave one egg in there). Buttercup acted the same. I have a feeling they would go broody if I left them to it.
Either way it's kind of cute to watch. :)
