    Cheep way to fix muddy chicken run?

    Hello. I live in a mountain town and in the chicken run there is about 3 feet of solid snow. We will try to drain it when it melts but it will still be a muddy mess. I was wondering it there is a cheep way to dry up the mud. Thank you, Aaron.

    Brooding different breed chicks

    Hi. I am going to order 10 Barred Rocks and 14 Red Stars.(chicks). I know that I have to keep them in a brooder for the first 6 weeks. Is it ok if I have both breeds in the same brooder? Thank you, Aaron. (ps. sorry if I'm not using the proper lingo! I am new)
