    Muttsfan - the later the shipping to me - the better anyway - her in Vermont the ground is still solid ICE in most places - so even a week of decent weather will hardly make any difference - I have a batch just started in my only incubator so can't put them in now anyway ... help the lower parts...

    I breed Silver Appenzeller Spitzhauben and Arkansas Blues (like Whiting Blue - but the main stock from that line). I sometimes have Marans - with dark eggs but mixed as to feathering so they can't be show quality - but I breed for dark egg color. I rarely get on backyard chickens - so email...

    Oh - on a positive note - am getting a brinsa -so won't have to wait so long into summer for a broody to show up - which means the birds won't have to be separated in small breeder pens for as long :)
