I have two broody hens and I hope they will accept the 4- two day old chicks tonight. Question: These brooding hens are on opposite ends of the pecking order scale. Should I split the babies between the two or put them under just one? What would you do and which hen would you put them under...
All my hens are molting but I still get 7 - 9 large eggs per day. The girls are about 8 months old and we get down in to the 30's at night. I feel pretty lucky. This is today's harvest.

The Feed and Tractor Supply companies here sell chicks for $3 and up. I guess you'll just have to wait and see. It'll be like Christmas, all over again. =) Hoping g'pa is wrong (this time) and that you have hens.
