    Thanks all on the comments I think he's pretty cute too LOL he loves the chickens when they were babies he had so much fun holding them! Him and I plan to also do the pumpkin carving and taking pictures of the chickens eating pumpkins!

    How to keep my chickens laying eggs in coop

    Thanks for the information I have a feeling I will have the same problem. My chickens started laying about two weeks ago and we are just finishing up our nesting boxes. So I will try keeping them locked up. Should I use golf so they get the idea also?

    Did you have to train them to use the nesting boxes? our coop will be done this weekend but our chickens are already laying by a tree, do I need to do anything special to teach them how to now lay in the nesting boxes?

    I am a first time chicken owner and I have about 6 month old brown wyandotte chicken who has not layed yet, my two Rhode Island reds and maran chicken have but not her! Any suggestions?
