Cold egg.. can I hatch still?

I successfully hatched 5 call duck eggs that the duck had kicked out the nest very early one morning. The eggs were all very cold by the time I saw them. I would say yes.

Types of Silkies - Large Fowel, Bantam, miniature, USA?

Thank you for the advice, it is appreciated! I was told to breed the paint hen to the black cockerel and paint cockerel to a black hen :-/ plus splash to splash. That could be a load of twaddle though

Good luck with your paints, you sound dedicated. Mine are nowhere near standard quality but I just wanted to see if I could breed paints. I bought 2 paints, male and female, a black cockerel and a splash hen and stupidly thought it was as simple as that :-/

Types of Silkies - Large Fowel, Bantam, miniature, USA?

Calls are cute and funny wee ducks but females are very loud! I have one called Gabby who likes trying to be louder than the others. I have decided to breed paints too, as well as splash. I’m only just starting out and my birds are still young so I haven’t had to deal with extra cockerels yet...

I started with Call ducks a few years ago so Silkies are definitely easier and cleaner :)

Final update All four babies hatched safe and well. Two had their feet over their heads! Last egg that looked way behind in development had actually stopped developing died. Thank you all for your friendship while I was giving birth (felt like it lol)

Its great for Puddles, they’re snuggled in together now. Two more to go! I love their cheeky wee characters and my granddaughters love giving them names. We have Mr and Mrs Ducky McDuckface because “they can’t have babies unless they're married” seemingly!
