I went out and took better pictures because i usually take pictures at night. I see the saddle feathers now 😭😭 any idea why none of my 20 week old cockrels are crowing yet? Different breeds
I have these 2 that i have been pretty sure are a male and female. They are just over 20 weeks old and the obvious male has never even tried to crow. Please reassure me his sister is his sister and not his brother.. And why would he not be crowing yet? First picture is suspected female, woth the...

can blue wyandotte (not blr) be black? I got some lavender and blue wyandotte and all the lavender look to be splash(i believe thats what its called) and some of the blues look blue but some are black
So i bought 3 pullets and 2 laying hens a couple weeks ago. The laying hens and 1 pullet are doing just fine. They have access to layer crumble, oyster shell, black sunflower seeds, and scratch grain. Along with whatever odds and ends i toss in for them. I have a hanging water and food container...
I was sure one was male, one female, but now im not sure.. Any help? 3 months old. They look so similar but one has longer tail feathers that remind me of a roo... But when i look stuff up, i think a roo would have larger comb
So its been a month.. Shortly after this post, i checked bone spacing again and looked closely to discover they were all infested with chicken lice.. They were treated and are now lice free, combs are all healthy red now, and they have started laying mini eggs. I messaged the person i got them...
Haha, there is literally NO WAY i got all boys except one. It is an entire hatch. None picked out. Everyone said my whole last batch was all male too.I know they arent, but theres no way i would be unlucky enough to get 2 batches of all male babies from a full hatch 😂
Got these few day old blue and lavender wyandotte chicks yesterday.. I know it's a waitimg game no matter what, but any ideas on sexing? I was looking at wing sexing pictures. I will post mine
I posted a few weeks ago and by their combs, everyone said all pullets.. I can now tell that one for sure is a cockrel and worried that Several may be.. I am attaching pictures of their heads and tails. They will be 11 weeks old tomorrow
