How lovely! Mine are in the in between stage.. still little tufts if fluff but they have a lot more feathers now...and of course testing out the little wings and getting quite a bit of height when they fly...nit to mention how their little peeps are starting to surrender to more of a broken...

Well I’m not sure if this is the right thing to do, but I’ve let the babies (11 day olds) for 30 mins out in their secure coop to get natural sunshine. They seem to be all happy and well settled back in the brooder (currently located in a bin in our bath). Too cute watching them trying to catch...

Well after We built beautiful raised beds for my veggie garden I started to refer to this as our “urban farmlette”. I had chickens in Africa when I was a child and am a total animal lover. I figure we could build a good coop and have some feathery ladies join us to help with the natural worm...
