    drunk chicken

    I have a japanese rooster about 8 weeks old and last week he lost his balance or something. It looks like he is drunk. He eats fine and gets around ok just shaky and unstable on his feet. Has anyboby saw this before? How would you treat him? Any advice would be helpful.

    I am sure of it,beause I only have to pullets in the coop and one layes a green egg and one layed a blue egg. The only other hen in the coop is a two year old Japanese. She still is laying a white egg, although it is a different size and shape from the Jap. Still waiting for a blue egg very confused

    I have three easter egger hens the same age, eating the same food {nutrena layer food} , and in the same coop . I have two blue egg layers and one green egg layer. One of the blue egg layers in now laying a white egg, she has for a few days. Can anyone tell me why this is?

    what about cedar shavings? I bought some of those the lady at tractor supply said they would be fine to use. I haven't put them in the coops yet I still have hay. The last of the hay is in the coops I hope cedar in fine. What do you guys think.
