RIR Hens age 8 months, bloody eggs and vents. One died yesterday because the other birds ate it. One is recovering from same fate and I found 1 bloody egg today. I was able to get that hen out before the others started eating her. Other than blood, her vent looks normal.

2 Jersey Giant hens and 3 Silver Wyandott hens, in separate houses, can't keep feathers on their backs. This has been on-going for months. There seems to be no other problems, and none of the other birds have been affected. What do you think causes this?
