My goose - who has no mate - has been laying eggs for a couple weeks now. We discovered she had laid 5 so I put her up with the eggs to see if she would go broody. She didn't and didn't like being confined. So we let her loose again and are taking up the eggs every day as we find them. Is it... -
Goose fertility
Do geese harbor sperm for a period of time? My goose had a wild Canada mate for a few months this fall and winter. We found him dead a couple of weeks ago. Now my goose has laid 6 eggs. What are the odds that any of these eggs are fertile? I'm willing to let her sit on them so she goes... -

unknown illness
My Mille Fleur d'Uccle Bantam hen (about 4 years old) who is usually frisky and active has become lethargic. She acts like she cannot see well. I'm keeping her up with food and water but wonder if there is something I can dose her with without knowing exactly what is wrong. Thanks for any advice.- carmentk

looking for a couple of chukars
I volunteer at Walden's Puddle Wildlife Rehab and Ed Center in Joelton. A couple of months ago I brought home a chukar partridge that was found on a window ledge at an elementary school somewhere in Nashville.
