Hatchery or Breeders
I see soo many ads where people are saying in big caps NOT HATCHERY BIRDS.. Just curious why most people don't want hatchery birds...am I missing something? I just raise them for the joy of hatching and of course fresh eggs and the chickens personalities so I am stumped at this. Sorry if...- jessaba

Can't wait for its arrival!
So after much debate we decided to buy a cabinet style incubator that holds 270 regular chicken eggs. It should be here in 2-3 weeks... Its the GQF 1502 sports incubator. We have always just hatched a few in two styrofoam incubators, so I'm excited for it to get here and to get-a-hatching...- jessaba

Added Pekin babies today
Well Saturday I got mallards and today I brought home 2 Pekin ducklings that are 1 week old. They are so cute. I can't believe I waited this long to get into ducks!!! :) -
Are muscovies friendly?
I am entertaining the idea of getting some week old ducks and just curious if they can be good pets if handled daily. I would handle them daily. Do they follow you around and like to be petted, or would they rather you just leave them alone? -
New Duck Owner
Well after wanting Ducks for YEARS literally I have broken down and gotten 5 ducks. I love just sitting and watching them. They are about 5-6 weeks old and so adorable! Always have loved ducks :)
