    Need help IDing a large mass outside a newly hatched chick - graphic pictures

    I need help trying to identify what this mass is outside the chick's body. It was malpositioned and I removed the membrane and shell so it could get out, but it has a large mass connected to its bumm. I do not know if this is unabsorbed yolk or some deformity. Please advise!!!
