I Have a 4x6 elevated coop with a 10x10 dog kennel attached for sale in Opelousas Louisiana I built it 2 years ago and it has linoleum floor and roost. a large clean out door for the shavings and a hinged top for the nesting boxes.
this coop was 3 weeks in the making but actuly only worked on it for 3 and 1/2 days. The wife said it had to be finished this weekend becaue she was tired of teh brooder in the laundry room (haha)

today i started to build the 4x6 coop for my 6 new chicks, the wife kept me company most of the day and the neighbor came and cut the lawn for me so i was totaly focused on getting this done, here are the chicks and the first days progress on the coop.

I am looking to build a 4x6 coop with 5 foot high front and 4 foot high back and 2 nest boxes (or should i go 3?) on the outside for 6 hens, also for the run i am useing my 10x10 with 6 foot sides dog kennel, will the 10x10 be big enough for 6 hens? Also how big of cut out for the chickens to go...
