Returning to Coop / Predators
Our coop sits right in front of a small grove of trees/brush. Our chickens would go in to roost every night until we found a rat snake in the coop the other week. After that, only 1 or 2 hens would roost in the coop and the others would roost in the trees right next to the coop. We tried...- KF5IWR

Just brought home flock - Question on roosting at night
We recently moved to a chicken friendly area and a friend has been keeping our flock at her place until we were ready (she picked up 5 hens and a rooster and only needed 2 hens at the time).
