    when can I expect our birds to lay

    We have 12 amber link hens and our best guess of age is 3-4m. My husband got tehm at a tractor supply and didn't ask their age. Do we need a rooster to get them started?

    Ducks and chicks in the coop

    We have 12 chicks and 2 ducks. They all are about 7weeks old and the best of friends. The problem is getting the chicks into the coop at night. The ducks get upset when they start going in and will call the, back out. ( when they are free range they all hang out together and if one of the chicks...

    HI from cental illinois

    we just purchased 12 amber links and 2 pekin ducks for our three sons. Ages 8,6 and 2. I'm not sure who is more excited me or them. Glad to find a site that is helpful and easy to navigate.
