Cracked Beak
My female Pekin duck has a small, dark crack in the tip of her beak, directly in the center. It is about 1/4 inch long, and extends from the tip towards her head. Poor girl! It doesn't seem to bother her, and I don't see any blood - is there anything I can/should do? What would cause this... -
6 wk old Turkey punctured wing...
On my way to turn our 6 week old baby turkeys out in their outdoor enclosure for the afternoon, one of the babies flapped their wings (about a one foot wing span already) and got away. I had just unhooked the latches on the coop door, and wouldn't you know it - that darned feisty turkey managed...- cmvanr
