right feed for the right age?
so, my friend went to the feed store and picked up some feed for me today. i thought chickens were supposed to stay on grower/developer until they started laying. the bag of organic feed she dropped off says, 'for pullets 6-12 weeks'. i'm confused! are my girls and two possible dudes going...- amyjoy

So glad to finally be a part of the BYC community! I've visited this sight frequently for years. We finally took the plunge this spring with our first 8 girls! I had planned on 6 so start with but was overwhelmed by the ridiculously adorable fluff at the farm store. We have 2 buff orps...- amyjoy
