    Breed my buff orpington rooster over my rhode island red and black australorp hens. All the chicks came out buff. Is that normal and will that always happen?

    Neighbors

    Woke up this morning to let my chickens out of the coop. Saw two wild turkeys with 7 young. They were talking to my chickens in the outside run. Maybe they will hang around with my chickens and i could tame one.

    Crooked Toes

    Just noticed my one chick about 5 or 6 weeks old has crooked toes. I believe this is new never noticed it before. Kinda freaks me out, look even more like an alien. Anyways it gets around fine, doesnt seem to bother the chick. Can i fix this, and if so is it beneficial.

    Egg is stuck on

    There is some egg shell stuck on the back of one the recently hatch chicks. Its dried on, i was not home to tend to it early enough Should i remove it or let nature take its course.

    So my chicks hatched today on memorial day. Nice timing 13 of 23 so far. Here are some pics. I see three barred rocks and a buff ophington. Also maybe a easter egger. For all the yellow ones im guessing delawares? As for the two lighter black ones there actually grey/blue with black legs...
