Hi! y'all. i just had some questions, i have a broody hen, so we put her in a small dog pen in the chicken area (with some fertile eggs) but just last night my dog started barking like crazy, so my dad went out there and there was a racoon on the fence! so me and my dad are trying to find a good...
um i just have a few questions, my hen is just sitting in the coop and she's been there all day, (literaly) but will she get food and water by herself or will she stay in the coop for three weeks? also is there anything i need to do to the eggs like flip them? or will she do it like naturally?
hi y'all! i was just wondering if anyone knew of a good cheap incubator's? cause my chickens won't go broody and i want to have chicks! but all the incubator's i see are like $100 bucks! if anyone has any suggestions please do tell me!!
I've been reading a lot about chicks and hatching eggs. one thing that practically every thing said was to flip the eggs every 8 hours or so. WHY?????????
i have ten chickens and all of them are laying (well except the rooster of course) but they wont lay on their eggs longer than it takes to lay them and i don't really want to pay a ton of money on a incubater. does anyone have any suggestions?
