Aha! So I finally got a picture of the copper developing on one of these blue somethings. I'm also thinking they are bantams...never had one though. Any more ideas, folks?

I couldn't resist these two blue beauties at our local feed store today. I have MY idea what they might be, and the feed store personnel have their idea, but first I'd like to hear from all of you. What breed are these?
Someone asked me for comb shots to determine roo or pullet on these. They are almost 8 weeks now. Opinions? Light Brahma's comb looks kinda wonky to me.

Please forgive my ignorance, but I just bought some oyster shell for the first time and was amazed at how BIG and SHARP the pieces were. If chickens can eat that stuff safely, why can't they eat the DE that is NOT food grade?
