I heard that it is better to let the killed meat bird cool down before it is dipped into the boiling water? Any truth to this?
Also heard to let the bird completely cool down before stuffing it into the freezer. Any truth to that?

Please help me identify. The black Americauna is crowing like a rooster. The ginger colored Americauna is not crowing at all yet I can't seem to think that they both look physically similar. Is the ginger Americauna a rooster too?
