    my first ever incubation attempt

    So for my 1 yr anniversary my wonderful husband got me an incubator ( he must like making his life miserable) so I set some quail eggs and am waiting for them to hatch I check on them everyday although I know they wont start doing anything for awhile yet I like to imagine I'll have a 100% hatch...

    breed and sex

    I was told that this is a barred rock is that correct and also to me i think it is a pullet but ive never kept chickens b4 so im going based on pictures and info i have read. thanks for the help.
