    advice for introducing 8 week old hens to year old roos

    Does anybody have any good advice for introducing or new ladies to an older roo? The ladies are out for the first day in their coop and love it!! We let the roo in and all seemed well….but should we separate them at night? Thanks!!!!

    New to BYC!!!

    We just joined and are happy chickens keepers for 1 year now!! We have one established flock and 16 new 8 week old ladies soon to go outside to their coop!! Any suggestions on introducing the new ladies to a 1 year old rooster? Thanks!!
