    Hello. My grandkids and I have teamed up to raise a few chickens. We live just outside the Tucson city limits, and have a small backyard. Our HOA will alow us to keep up to 5 birds as pets, any more and they magically turn into "livestock". We have four 10 day old chicks (2 Cochins, 2 RIR)...

    Just Getting Started in Tucson

    Been thinking about chickens for a while (nothing big, just a couple). Our HOA will let us have 5 as pets, if you have 6 they magically turn into livestock. Anyway, we are in the county, smallish backyard, and have picked up some chicks at the sale at Ace - 2 Rhode Island Reds and 2 Cochins...
