    I have just hatched 5 lavender araucana chicks, they are the most beautiful little chickies I have ever seen :-) I am desperate to know if I have any hens...... does anyone know from experience if you can sex this breed by their wing feathers?     Wrong end pips

    I have 6 eggs due to hatch today. 2 have pipped - both towards the wrong end. Will these guys be okay? One has its beek out and is cheeping. The other pip only just happened and is tiny. Very worried - have I done something wrong to make this happen? ANy advice on how to proceed much appreciated x

    Hello, this is my first post but I have been a "lurker" for a year or so. Last year I tried to hatch my own eggs twice - the first time was a disaster in that 8 out of 8 eggs started to hatch but appeared to my unskilled eye to not be progressing. One died in the shell, so I helped the others...
