    New baby chicks

    I just had a new chick hatch. I am in northern utah. We are in the low 50's during the day, for now, and the 30's at night. Do I need to bring the mommy and baby in the house? And if so, for how long?

    Laying area

    I have heard that the laying area should be kept clean. How do I keep my girls from just chilling in There and pooping all over? They are not laying eggs yet.

    New chicken farmer and loving it!

    We just got chickens this Spring. We had 4 and lost one to a crazy hawk that swooped down and got our girl. Then my husband built an enclosed coop cage and we ended up getting 3 more. I love my girls! I have one named "Road Runner" that is near to impossible to catch and one big worm pig...
