    Chick with featherless butt

    This barnevelder chick hatched with a bald bottom. I thought for sure it wouldn't survive, but it is now close to 2 weeks old, active and healthy other than needing cleaned up fairly often. Anyone seen anything like this? Will the feathers eventually fill in?

    Any ideas on what this little bantam is?

    [/IMG] Picked up this little bantam from Atwoods, I read they get their chicks from Ideal. It's head is chocolate-y brown that fades to lighter on its back and belly. Any ideas?
