    Is this really a Barred rock?

    I got this rooster off of craigslist from a small flock owner nearby. He is supposed to be a barred rock, but his comb is more Pea -like than the traditional single comb. He did have some frostbite on his comb when I got him, but nothing too horrible. Would frostbite alter a single comb this...
