New rooster just showed up...
Which is fine, I have 28 hens with only one rooster and been thinking for awhile I could use another. Usually things you wish for don't just show up in your backyard... Young rooster, can't figure out breed. Silver laced Wyandotte (color) mixed with americauna (beard) was my first thought, but...- critch01

Light Brahmas ~6 months... both pullets?
I have two left of the four chicks I purchased in April. They are most certainly pullets, but every once in awhile they do something that makes me wonder! Just now they were on my deck, hackles up jumping at each other - like roosters do. I don't think I've ever seen hens "fight" like that...- critch01
