    How long will a duck sit now on day 35

    My duck hatched out only 2 eggs the last one on Wednesday. Today she completely redid her nest and kicked 3 eggs out. Now she has three left. I'm not sure which ones may be good, our other female has a habit of laying her eggs in the same nest when the female that is sitting gets off to eat.

    Drake killed baby

    My sweet drake killed one of our babies. I put the nest along with the remaining eggs in a cage with the baby that is left, but the female will not go in willingly and has started sitting on the other ducks eggs. Why did the drake kill the baby?

    I had one egg hatch 36 hours ago. What are the chances of others hatching? I did not think they would start hatching for 4 more days.

    Swedish drake and female mallards

    These are my first ducks. all 3 of them were suppose to be swedish. [/IMG][/IMG]I'm not sure if my boy is a black Swedish or not. But the girls look like female mallards.

    Can't believe how friendly Ducks are

    I have one swedish and two mallards. They follow me everywhere. They have a nice pond and everything they need at the pond, but they insist camping out at my front door, which is glass, and watching me. I just can't get over how much they enjoy being with the family.

    Does anyone know if ducks can hurt small turtles. We have an enclosure outside with a couple of young box turtles, the ducks can get inside.

    My Swedish drake is flying two miles away to court a Peking duck. We have 2 female mallards that fight over him. I don't understand why he wants to leave them. Should I just leave him. I went and got him the first time, but he only stayed two days then flew back to the Peking duck. Now my...
