If and when they hatch
Okay, I need some information. My peahen Gordy has been sitting on 3 eggs since July 13th, which means by August10th we should start seeing some signs of hatching, right? iF they hatch, what do I need to do? Her nest is in my fenced in back yard, safe from predators. -
2 peahens just appeared in our backyard...?
They have been here for about a month. We are feeding them 'chicken scratch' (recommended by feed store) and raw vegetable scraps and fresh diced apples.......now one of them has laid an egg in our flower bed .....? We are not sure if there is something we need to be doing for them ? Any advice...
