I have 5 of the leghorns and then this beauty who holds her tail proudly with a smaller comb and battles. What do y'all think she is. Pay no attention to the chick's they aren't hers.
I was getting 12 broiler chicks at our local Rural King. Apparently the salesperson gave me these 3 chicks that were definately NOT broilers. I put them with a Cochin broody and this is what they grew to be so far. They have no wattles or combs, and yellow legs They are 11 weeks old in these photos.
My Americuna(blue egg girl) and my Columbian Wyandotte, mated and had 4 chicks that hatched. There are 2 roos and 2 young hens, that are just beginning to lay. Now I have 2 adult hens that lay blue eggs and now one of the neww hens is laying a blue egg while her sister lays a pinkish brown one...
