I don't know how many will actually hatch out of the 11 eggs my 3 (or 4) silkies are trying to sit on, but I do know a few are hatching today. I found a couple eggs had fallen out of the nest and got rather cold, its sad... I think one chick died after only pipping out a tiny little hole, poor...
My clumsy chickens broke an egg and it got all over my other eggs, will this effect the other eggs ability to hatch? Is there any way to clean it? Waah I don't want to loose my chicks just because my silly hens broke an egg!
