I got these guys in an assortment from Meyer Hatchery, and I'm not too sure what I ended up with.
Chicken #1
Chicken #2 - Blue Orpington or Andalusian?
Chicken #3 - Lavender Orpington?
Thanks!

I ended up getting two of these guys, and only need one. What is a good asking price for them? The hatchery I bought them from sells them at $32.55 for a day old chick. I was thinking between $40 - $50, but wasn't sure if that is too high.
Can anyone suggest a good substitute for chick grit? I'm currently buying it from TSC for $5 a bag and they go through it pretty quickly (I have around 50 chicks), so I'm looking for a more cost effective alternative.
Thanks!

Chick #2

Same chick next to one of my white chicks...

How much does everyone feed their free range laying flock? What about free range ducks? I currently have 9 layers and will be expanding to 17, very shortly. Also planning to add a few Pekin Ducks to the flock this year.
Most of my friends who free range their birds don't feed them anything...
