when to thin out the roosters
started first flock with 14 chicks around Easter, all supposed to be pullets. have 4 crowing and growing spurs with big combs and wattles so they must have been breaking in a new "sexxer" at the hatchery? anyway, they all have some size on them now and am wondering how much time i have to pair...- rtide

one sick chick
just got two different batches, 7 amberlink from TS, 5 RI Red/Plym Rock, 2 unknown, one red one black from local feed store. one of the Amber link is very listless and won'e get up. should i separate from others? or is it ok to leave in brooder tank. can others be affected? thanks- rtide
