Ducks in the winter...
I live in Minnesota where it gets pretty cold during the winter, any tips on keeping ducks during the cold months? I'm hoping not to have to use a heat lamp all winter if possible. -
Dog Kennel for Ducks???
I plan on getting two or three ducks (probably pekin) and was wondering if, when they get older, I could keep them in a chain-link dog kennel? Of course it will be equipped for Ducks not dogs . Tips? Suggestions?- Oakly24

I'm thinking of getting a duck or two to keep as a pet. I live in Minnesota, if that makes a difference. I've heard good things about a few breeds but am not sure which is best. I would like something friendly and fairly quiet. Which breed should I get? How many? Is it okay to get one or is two...
