    Keeping Mandarin ducks in the winter

    I am getting a pair of mandarins for the second time now. I now have a fly pen built. I am planning on keeping them outside in it but, I live in Michigan with harsh winters. Should I wrap the outside part with thick plastic or any other ideas if it’s needed?

    I have some questions about my chicks. First I bought them as listed as Ameraucana/EE which are different so which breed is it? How old are my chicks? What are their coloring's? Also are they pullets or cockerels it listed as pullets so I hope that's what they are? I got them about two weeks ago...

    I just got some Ameraucana/EE very young pullets from a meet! Now I know there is a difference between the two birds but that's what they had them listed as.
