delayed chicks!
Our chicks were due on the 18th, but still nothing yet. Should I be concerned? We have 30 RIR eggs that, until recently, we thought were in the bator at 99.5 F. It turns out that they were between 92-94 F. The thermometer was bad. Since then (4 days ago), we have cranked the heat to near...- bennjenny

Ants in the incubator!
I just set our eggs today, and when I came home I had hundreds of ants building a nest in two places in the incubator! I wasn't sure if this would harm the eggs, so I cleaned them all out. I cannot find the source of the ants, so I am sure they will be back. Will these pesky little creatures...- bennjenny
