    Feather pulling

I have a hen that was broody for several weeks. Now she is getting her neck feather plucked out in the coop. She is starting to look like a naked neck except for the quils. She is also seams to be on the bottem of the pecking order. I let them free range in my back yard. What can I do to help her.

    Broody Hen w/ chick

My nephew called me and has one chick hatched under a hen w/ more eggs. He took the chic out and put it in the brooder and it does not want to be alone. He is afraid it will fall out of the nest if left with hen and doesn't know how it will get food and water. Any advice?

    pullets sleeping on shelf

I have 6 -12 week old pullets. My son made me a A frame 4x8 coop w/ a dormer window. We put a shelf under the window, because the nesting boxes are under it. Now they are sleeping on the shelf insted of the roosts. Is this going to be a problem?
