Peepers for Turkeys
Does anyone here know if the "poultry peepers" will work on young turkeys? I have 2 turkeys, the one we think is male has a tendancy to bully. I also have an "orphan" baby chicken whose only hatchmates were quail, and she is now old enough to go to the coop but I know the turkey will not accept... -
Raising quail to eat, have a question
Ok so we bought some hatching eggs and got 6 females one male. Not sure how old they are now but on the day I decide to butcher one to try (first time), we also had 17 hatch, all healthy and active. My question is for someone who really likes chicken a lot. Have you tasted quail and liked it... -
Slightly Deformed chick advice (crooked beak and bulging eye)
Long story short I hatched some serama eggs from brother/sister mating. I have had chicks before that don't survive but look fine, but this time 2 of them had slightly offset beaks, they didnt meet up perfectly. One never got out of the shell, the other one seems good for now but has the offset...- zanybrain
