    My resident (17-year-old) granddaughter surprised me with my very first chicks for Christmas 2018. There were 8 but I lost 4 the very first night in the cold. The other 4 came to live inside!! I should explain that I ALWAYS wanted chickens so... my adventure began! Much to my husband's concern...
