Two Buff Cochins - is one a rooster?
Hi, I received 2 Buff Cochin chicks and they are about 3 months old now, but look very different. One has a comb alreeady and the other does not. Could one be a rooster and the other a hen? Or maybe one is a regular and the other is a bantam? They are the exact same age and around the same size...- adams86

Will this heating plate be ok till 6 weeks old?
Hi I am expecting my 15 chicks this week and I have my brooder setup and I purchased a Premier heating plate that is 30cm X 30cm and says it is good for 20-25 chicks.
