After losing one of my pekins the other night I have doubled my effort on a large pond It seems logical to me that as long as they are in the water they are fairly safe from predation. Full grown pekin drake taken at night
Woke up the other morning to find back yard covered with feathers and a few chunks (1 sq. inch) of bird with feathers attached. Spread about in a near perfect circle diameter about 20 ft.
