We got our first egg!! Is this normal?
We got our first egg!! Yay!! However it's not too pretty :/ I looked around the coop to see if there were any signs of a broken egg as that is exactly what it looks like on the outside. My husband said maybe it's just since it's the first one. We only have 3 chickens so learning as we go! Can...- kshawd

Hen or Rooster California White?
I'm pretty sure she's a hen, but 3 months old and has started talking quite a bit! It is not a rooster crow, just a louder sound kind of like distress but everything is fine. I'm not that into it though :( She is the more dominant of my 3 hens. Thanks!- kshawd
