    Combining 2 flocks

    Will my free range chickens lay in the coop?

    My chickens are only in the coop at night and free range a very large area all day long. One of my girls is very close to laying as her comb has darken and she is squatting when I go to pet her. Will she come back to the coop to lay? How will I know if she lays the egg somewhere else?

    Pullet or rooster

    Any idea if this is a pullet or cockerel. I see she has a reddened comb but it's not as res as some in the flock. Also the feathers are way more advanced on this chick then some of the others. 6 weeks white leghorn
