    After a couple weeks finally finished the coop and all 6 ladies seem to be loving it!

    nest boxes?

    Does each hen need there own nest box? In thw process of building my coop just trying to figure out how many nest boxes i need. Ill bave 6 hens if that helps.....

    help?....

    Not sure if its normal or not, or if i am missing something. Im noticing my chicks digging/scratching at ther bedding in there brooder. Are they in need of something or is this just normal behavior? They have water food and a heat lamp. Not sure if they need the dust bath yet, thoughts?

    new to the coop

    Hey all, new to the site and raising chicks. Picking up the ladies 1st thing tomorrow. Really looking forward to it.
